The Pisces New Moon signifies an ending and a preparation - the dissolution of the closing astrological year, and an opportunity to dream into the coming Equinox rebirth. Pisces is fluid, shapeshifting, sensitive and receptive, calling you inward to tend to your feelings, intuition and dreams.
This lunation is super-charged. It’s not only the second of three consecutive Super New Moons, it also marks the start of eclipse season, a six-week period of accelerated change. This lunar cycle will peak at the Libra Full Moon Lunar Eclipse (March 25), followed by the EPIC Aries New Moon Solar Eclipse (April 8).
To prepare for the wild times ahead, this New Moon invites you to re-source yourself in the deepest truth of who you are – infinite, eternal, divine. To uncover and release self-sabotaging patterns, unconscious blocks to expressing your power and authenticity, places where you’ve been stuck in “little me.”
By softening, opening, allowing for down time and spaciousness, you can hear the voice of your soul and receive a new dream, a new vision of what wants to be birthed through you in the upcoming spring season.
The New Moon conjoins with Neptune, the modern ruler of Pisces, amplifying sensitivity, compassion, intuition, imagination and access to the Dreamtime. Also readily available are the more shadowy Piscean potentials – addiction, escapism, overwhelm, denial. A willingness to feel ALL your feelings, to allow them to flow through you without judgment or attachment, is key.
Jupiter, the traditional ruler of Pisces, is in earthy Taurus, supporting you to take practical, simple steps forward to bring your dreams into reality. Trust your body’s wisdom and guidance, slowing down to pay attention to what feels good, what’s aligned with what you really love and value.
As Jupiter approaches its rare conjunction with Uranus, culminating April 20th, there’s a rising tide of awakening, rebellion and liberation. Jupiter-Uranus calls for questioning everything, throwing off old beliefs and stories - especially about our bodies, the earth, creativity and worthiness - and expanding into a new level of freedom, truth, abundance and beauty.
