“Anything that is over-defined or inflexible is fair game for change. Likewise, anything that presently defines and limits you is being stripped away. Expect clearing and change. As your facade crumbles and your walls come tumbling down, the true illumination of self bursts through!” - Ariel Spilsbury

The first Super New Moon of the year – the powerhouse Aquarius New Moon on February 9 – sparked a radical break from the past and an initiation into a whole new, possibly unexpected chapter.

Now, as the energies build toward Saturday’s Full Moon, Venus and Mars are uniting in Aquarius and setting off a new two-year cycle of passion, creativity, and taking action on what you love and value.

In Aquarius, there’s a focus on giving your unique gifts to the world, living your truth and ideals, magnetizing allies based on shared values, and taking a quantum leap into your future self.

As Venus and Mars conjoin, they form a challenging square to Jupiter in Taurus. You’re being called to stretch beyond your comfort zone, to shake up the status quo in order to step into a new level of service, connection and fulfillment. You can trust your body’s wisdom to guide you in taking a risk – possibly in the form of a financial investment – as an act of faith that you’re worthy of living your ideal future.

Meanwhile, the Sun has recently shifted into Pisces, the last sign of the zodiac. Pisces season – February 18 to March 19 – represents the end of the astrological year, a time of dissolving the past in preparation for the Aries rebirth at Spring Equinox. The clearing-out process may be especially dramatic this year, as the Sun, Mercury and Saturn will all meet up in Pisces on February 28.

This triple conjunction signifies that something is coming to an end – it’s time to let go of what’s no longer in alignment or integrity with your deepest self or spiritual mission. The pressure is already building at the Full Moon, and may involve challenges to face, commitments to make or break, and/or hard conversations that involve saying no or setting a boundary.

With Aquarian and Piscean energies living large, it’s easy to get caught up in the chaotic swirl of collective energies, big dreams and high ideals, and excitement/overwhelm about the future.

The Virgo Full Moon calls you back to the present moment to get grounded in your body and immediate environment, to integrate the wild new frequencies, and to gain clarity about how to move forward in a way that’s healthy, realistic and aligned with your Essence Self.

Virgo is the sign of discernment, and this Full Moon can help you identify – with your gut knowing, your “belly brain” – what you’re ready to release. The Full Moon harmonizes with Jupiter in Taurus, supporting you to ground into your intrinsic value, trust your body’s knowing, and expand into a higher level of service and sharing your skills.
