I’m Emily.

My soul name is clarity.

I fell in love with astrology at age 13, when I read Linda Goodman’s Sun Signs. Suddenly the world made sense! I’ve been a passionate student of the Cosmic Science ever since, for more than 40 years.

As a lover of learning and teaching, I initially pursued an academic path. I graduated summa cum laude from Brandeis University and completed an MA at Emory University.

That path was ultimately unfulfilling, and in 1999, I came out of the metaphysical closet and started sharing my astrological gifts through readings. I taught my first astrology class in 2003, and have trained many students to become professional astrologers themselves.

My astro-writing has appeared in several publications and websites, including The Mountain Astrologer Magazine, and on Tarot.com and JanSpiller.com. My TMA article Venus, Mary Magdalene and the Reemerging Sacred Feminine was reprinted on astro.com.

For 20 years, I led creative writing workshops and retreats as a certified facilitator of the Amherst Writers & Artists (AWA) method. I’ve trained other writers to step into the facilitator role using this powerful practice.

My book Creating with the Cosmos helps you identify your innate gifts, work through blocks to self-expression, and find inspiration to sustain a creative life. I believe that creativity is essential to our humanness, and I love to support other artists on their creative path!

I also have a background in natural healing and energy medicine, and have studied and practiced Polarity Therapy, BodyTalk, Reiki and Reflexology. This background informs and infuses my practice as an astrologer, and I work with astrology as a healing art.

In 2022, together with Sasha Rose of Venus Wisdom, I co-hosted the first-ever truth and freedom astrology summit, The Aquarian High Council. We brought together more than 20 astrologers - the rebels and heretics who have questioned the mainstream narrative of the past few years - to share their alternative vision.

I’m currently studying biodynamic agriculture, as introduced by Rudolf Steiner. I’m excited to apply my knowledge of the cosmic forces toward healing the earth and growing spiritually nutritious food.

People who resonate with my work:

  • Value personal growth, the healing journey and spiritual inquiry;

  • Tend to feel like outsiders, aliens, oddballs and heretics;

  • Are highly sensitive – and may have been told they are “too sensitive;”

  • Aspire to live a creative, authentic, outside-the-box life;

  • See themselves as co-creators of their reality and take responsibility for their creations;

  • Enjoy questioning the status quo, digging deep, and having their minds blown.
