Transits: The Meaning and Purpose of This Time

Astrological transits – how the planets currently in the sky interact with the birth chart – is an essential technique for navigational guidance.   

Rather than “predicting the future,” the usefulness of transits is in understanding “what time it is”: 

• how this period in your life fits into the context of broader cycles;  

• which energies and archetypes are at play and how you can best work with them;  

• and, what is the meaning and purpose of this time? 

This 7-week series is for intermediate and advanced students of the cosmic science who already have a basic understanding of natal chart interpretation – i.e., have a working knowledge of the planets, signs, houses and aspects. 

You’ll learn to:  

• Identify and interpret major transits; 


• Use an ephemeris; 

• 
“Triage” which transits are most impactful; 

• 
Prioritize transits in a reading.

You’ll get plenty of hands-on practice working with transits, and homework assignments that help you deepen into the material.
