Cancer New Moon - Stretch Beyond Comfort to Create Greater Fulfillment

The Cancer New Moon conjoins with giant Jupiter, stirring up BIG feelings, amplifying your intuition, and inviting you to expand into new emotional territory. This watery, sensitive New Moon lights up the truth of what you need, and wants to stretch your capacity to receive greater fulfillment, nourishment and support.
At the same time, the New Moon activates Jupiter’s ongoing, high-pressure square to Saturn and Neptune in Aries – the astro-headline for the past few weeks. While world events reflect a distorted or shadow expression of this square (the “fog of war” fueled by unconscious energies and delusion), we each have the power to harness these alignments in the direction of the highest good for all.
It’s time to be brave, take a risk, and take action on YOUR dream for the future – rather than collapsing in hopelessness in the face of the apocalyptic dystopia presented as a foregone conclusion.
The square from the Sun, Moon and Jupiter in Cancer to Saturn and Neptune in Aries challenges you to leave behind what’s comfortable and familiar in order to forge new directions. This Jupiterian expansion requires the dissolution of old identities, the cutting away of old, limiting beliefs about and definitions of self.
It takes courage to move forward with compassion and vulnerability, to keep your heart open as fears and insecurities arise, rather than over-riding or masking your sensitivity. Feel what needs to be felt, without getting attached to the stories about those feelings, or without believing everything you think.
