Leading up to Thursday’s Full Moon is an EPIC shift. Yesterday, Uranus entered Gemini for the first time since 1949. You might feel a bit off-kilter as you adjust to this brand-new frequency. This year we’ll get a preview of Uranus in Gemini until November 7, then it will retrograde back into Taurus until April 2026, then back to Gemini until 2033.

Uranus in Gemini signals a time of fast-moving (or even faster-moving) change and revolutionary tech advances, especially in media, communication and travel. Adaptability, flexibility and open-mindedness will help you navigate this energy.

The higher potential of Uranus in Gemini is to expand your mind into creative new territory, shatter old, limiting thought forms, and express your radical authenticity. The shadow potential includes (even more) media inundation and information overload, resulting in increased anxiety, overwhelm and distraction - nervous system dysregulation in the extreme.

(FYI - there are still a few spots left in the women’s mini-retreat in Santa Fe next Saturday, where we’ll dive into this transit and what it means for YOU, and offer practices for calming the nervous system and feeling into your body’s wisdom.)

As Uranus transitioned into Gemini, Venus - Goddess of Love - was right by its side, in a close conjunction. As the energies speed up and the mind goes wild, Venus reminds you to get grounded in your body, return to the heart as a touchstone, and let yourself be guided by love.

The Full Moon in earthy Capricorn invites you to slow down and take time to integrate the new frequencies in your body, and to feel into your body’s wisdom as you enter new territory. Let your inner sense of alignment and integrity guide your clarity about where to focus and commit your energy.

This Full Moon is the peak of the cycle that started with the Cancer New Moon on June 25. Activating giant Jupiter, the New Moon planted seeds for expanding into new emotional territory - expanding your capacity for fulfillment, for giving and receiving love, for sharing vulnerability and increasing intimacy.

Now, the Full Moon brings to light any fears, blocks or limitations to this expansion. The Sun and Moon square Chiron in Aries, opening the door to healing old conditioned programs about how much love, fulfillment and support you’re allowed to experience. The key (Chiron) is how you identify yourself (Aries), who you think you are - small and separate, or infinite and intrinsically connected with all Life, a unique expression of the Divine.

Echoing this theme, Saturn - the ruler of Capricorn and presiding deity of this lunation - is also in Aries, and about to turn retrograde. Saturn’s station (standstill) can add to the pressurized feeling of this Full Moon, bringing attention to unfinished business, a too-long to-do list and too little time (or is it just me??).

At a deeper level, there’s pressure to shift your sense of identity - the I AM of Aries. As Saturn stations, it’s in a tight conjunction with Neptune - the closest this year, before they both transition back into Pisces and then come together in a precise conjunction next February. Meanwhile, Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius both form a harmonious sextile with Saturn and Neptune in Aries.

Translation? Uranus and Pluto in air (mental) signs want you to expand your ideas about who you are, and get radical in your thinking about humanity and your own humanness. Neptune wants to dissolve the old versions of self, while Saturn wants you to define a NEW self.

Entertain the possibility that you are a powerful creator, that your individual intent and will matter, that how you focus your time and attention can shift the course of this collective dream. This Full Moon wants you to know and own your authority and strength as the bad-ass spiritual warrior you came here to be.

And, your spiritual warrior self does not have to override or shut down sensitivity, vulnerability or your own needs (Cancer), but in fact can function more effectively when honoring your heart and leading with love and compassion.

For more insight into what this Full Moon means for YOU, find the house in your birth chart that contains 18° Capricorn. The areas of life signified by that house are where events are coming to culmination, fruition or completion, and where you’re invited to:

  • make, break or redefine a commitment;

  • release self-limiting beliefs and judgments, as well as conditioned emotional responses;

  • open to a higher perspective of your life’s work and soul’s evolution;

  • listen deeply to your body’s wisdom and come into greater integrity with your true essence;

  • reclaim your emotional and spiritual authority.
