We’re in the midst of an extremely rare and expansive alignment of slow-moving planets. Uranus in Gemini forms a flowing trine to Pluto in Aquarius, while both Uranus and Pluto sextile the conjunction of Saturn and Neptune in Aries.

In effect since July 7, when Uranus entered Gemini, and continuing through the month of August, this configuration is bringing in brand-new frequencies and a wide-open field of new potentials. Expanding your perception of who you are and what’s possible is key to making the most of this powerful cosmic flow.

As the Sun moved into Leo earlier today, it started lighting up this configuration, bringing down to a personal level these epic collective energies. Thursday’s New Moon directly interacts with the outer-planet alignment, asking you to rethink, reset, and revitalize your passion and purpose in response to the unfolding bigger story of this time.

The New Moon precisely opposes Pluto in Aquarius, challenging you to release what’s no longer in alignment with your authentic light and purpose, what’s no longer fun and energizing for you. Where have you been playing a role to gain love and approval from others, vs. following your heart’s passion and shining the light of your true self?

Pluto’s opposition to the New Moon can also bring up FEAR - fear of the future, fear of what other people think, fear of standing out and being seen in your truth. Where have you been sitting on the sidelines, waiting and watching the show, vs. playing the game of life full-on, taking risks toward your big dreams?

Instead of fearing the future and waiting to see what will happen, this New Moon wants you to know and own your power to co-create the future. While the world may be unstable, unpredictable and chaotic, you can find stability when you’re centered in your heart, and aligned with the truth of who you are - an infinite, divine being, a unique expression of Source.

Mercury is retrograde (July 17-August 11), so while this new lunar cycle catalyzes powerful forward momentum, it’s less about starting a brand new thing, and more about the RE- words - renew, redo, revitalize, regenerate, reconnect…

As the usual Mercury retro techno-glitches, changes of plans, delays and miscommunications arise - consider that you’re being called to slow down enough so you can listen to the voice of your heart. Mercury is the planet of perception and communication, and in Leo, Mercury retro wants you to reconnect to your heart’s knowing, to think and speak through your heart, to return to your center and reawaken to the unique purpose you came here to live.

Sign Polarities of the Zodiac - Healing and Integration
