We’re heading into a month of massive change, featuring some of the most dramatic astro-events of the year. Following Neptune’s move into Aries on January 26, Uranus will station direct in Taurus for the last time in our lives on February 3, Saturn moves into Aries on February 13, followed by a Solar Eclipse in Aquarius on February 17 - Chinese New Year and the start of the Year of the Fire Horse - and then the Saturn-Neptune conjunction on February 20.

How do we navigate these epic endings and beginnings, how to surf the tides of chaos and mystery in this liminal space as old realities dissolve and the new prepares to come into form?

The Leo Full Moon says: by getting centered in your heart, knowing your creative power, and leading with love and courage.

Pluto, Mars, the Sun, Venus and Mercury are all in Aquarius, opposing the Leo Moon. This concentration of planets in airy Aquarius - which has been building over the past few weeks - can stir up a lot of mental energy, anxiety in the nervous system, and “future freak-out.” Questions about the trajectory of your own life, and the life of the collective, may be living large.

But Saturn, the traditional ruler of Aquarius, is at the very end of Pisces, the last sign of the zodiac. This is a time for endings, release, surrender, communing with your dreams and intuition, making friends with the Mystery, and NOT knowing. Saturn will shift into Aries on February 13, signifying the start of a new cycle, which will REALLY get going at the Saturn-Neptune conjunction one week later.

Rather than getting hung up on what the future is going to look like, the Full Moon calls you back to present time, your place of power. While the mind tends to live in the past or future, if you’re in your heart, you can only be in the now.

Feel into your heart and trust that what lights you up, feels like FUN, and inspires your passion is your best navigational compass. To prepare for the coming rebirth, disconnect from what diminishes your life force, what feels more like an obligation than an expression of your true self. The days following the Full Moon are powerful for releasing rituals.

The revelatory potential of the Full Moon is amplified by the station of Uranus the Great Awakener, modern ruler of Aquarius, which will shift from retrograde to direct (forward) on February 3. This will be Uranus’ final station in Taurus, the sign it’s been traveling through since 2018. Be open to unexpected insights and breakthroughs about what you love and value, how you value yourself, and the people who share your social values and vision for the future.

The heightened Uranian energy plus the Aquarian contingent can equal fast and surprising developments, a swirling sense of everything being “up in the air,” tech disruptions, and dramatic world events. Put your bare feet on the Earth, breathe, and keep returning to your center - your heart and solar plexus - grounding into your power as an “immortal magician,” a co-creator of a more beautiful and loving future.

Chiron in Taurus: An Astrological & Shamanic Initiation

On June 19, Chiron - the Shaman, Mentor, Initiator and Wounded Healer - will enter Taurus for the first time in over 40 years. Join us to learn about and intimately experience Chiron in Taurus, and open to the healing potentials of this transit.

Taurus is the first of the Earth signs, reflecting your fundamental connection to the body, the natural world, and physical survival. Chiron in Taurus activates core wounds - and opportunities for healing - related to worthiness, self-love, security, receptivity and abundance. These patterns frequently emerge in our relationships with money, nourishment, possessions and intimacy.

Chiron was last in Taurus from 1976-1984. This year, we’ll get a preview of Chiron in Taurus from June 19 to September 17. Chiron will then reverse back into Aries until April 14, 2027, and then remain in Taurus until 2034.

In this three-part initiatory workshop, Emily will illuminate the astrological meaning and purpose of Chiron’s transit through Taurus, including the areas of life activated by Chiron in Taurus in your personal birth chart. Sarah will guide you through a series of shamanic journeys in which you’ll cultivate your own relationship with Chiron and receive direct guidance as to what Chiron in Taurus is asking of you. You’ll learn how to co-create with this astro-activation for growth and healing.

Those born with Chiron in Taurus (May 28 to October 13, 1976; March 28, 1977 to June 21, 1983, November 29, 1983 to April 11, 1984) will be especially sensitive to this transit, as they navigate their Chiron Return.

Chiron is an initiator of heroes, and therefore over our time together, participants will invite Chiron to ally with them in order to pass through a portal unique to each individual. Each of the three sessions will build upon the prior session.
