The powerhouse Aries New Moon on April 17 sparked an epic initiation into new realities, a cycle calling for courageous action toward your dreams. Now, the Scorpio Full Moon lights up any fears, wounds and self-sabotaging programs that are blocking your creative power. What needs to be felt, healed, alchemized, transformed in order to take a big step forward?

Scorpio rules the root, and this Full Moon also exposes your deepest truth, instinct, motivation, passion and desire. Is your new life direction aligned with what REALLY fires you up? Are you giving voice (Taurus) to your root truth (Scorpio)? What are you ready to commit to with your full being, heart and soul?

Pluto, modern ruler of Scorpio, squares the Full Moon, and is stationing - standing still as it prepares to turn retrograde on May 6th. Pluto increases awareness of what’s hidden in the subconscious and amplifies the Full Moon’s pressure to transform, to “let go to grow.”

Pluto’s square to the Taurus Sun and Scorpio Moon asks: What are the physical and emotional attachments that are blocking your highest future and are ready to be released? What are you holding onto out of fear and the illusion of security? Where are you being asked to release control, to step into greater trust and surrender to the mysterious flow of life?

Mars, traditional ruler of Scorpio, is powerful in Aries, the red planet’s other home sign. Mars in Aries inspires the confidence to face whatever issues arise head-on, and to take a risk toward your desires.

While the Full Moon stirs up deep feelings, Mars squares Jupiter in Cancer, heightening the potential for anger and reactivity. Emotional reactions are likely rooted in the fears and insecurities of your younger self, pointing to old frustrations of feeling like you can’t be yourself or get what you want. Past patterns that resurface are calling for your compassion, love and healing - so you can know and express more of your power in present time.

A higher potential of Mars-Jupiter would be to focus on what you want to create in the realms of home and family, to increase your sense of security, rootedness, intimacy and belonging. Mars-Jupiter also calls for moving forward with an open and generous heart, and leading with sensitivity and vulnerability.
