Approaching next Tuesday’s Total Lunar Eclipse, the pressure is building, strong emotions are rising to the surface, and events are coming to culmination or completion. In Virgo, this extra-potent Full Moon highlights work and service, health and healing, and your daily habits and routines as arenas for change.

Virgo rules the digestive system, and your belly brain may be very activated, alerting you to what’s truly nourishing and what you need to release. Tune into and trust your gut instincts to guide you. As sensitivity is heightened at the Eclipse, be discerning about what you’re taking in - physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically. Take time to digest and integrate the epic astro-changes that have happened over the past few months.

The Aquarius Solar Eclipse that launched this lunar cycle planted seeds for your future vision, catalyzing a quantum leap into a new reality. A few days later, the Saturn-Neptune conjunction signaled that a new dream is ready to manifest. We have officially entered a new chapter.

Now, the Virgo Eclipse asks: In order to bring your dreams into reality, what do you need to leave behind? What are the patterns, beliefs, habits, relationships… that don’t belong in the beautiful new world you’re ready to create? What do you need to heal within yourself to prepare for your new life?

The Eclipse conjoins the South Node, underscoring karmic endings and necessary completions. This same Eclipse occurred in 2007, and something - a job, relationship, life direction… - that started 19 years ago may be coming to a close.

As unresolved emotional shiznit from the past rises into awareness, ripe for healing and clearing, it can be easy to fall into shadow Virgo judgment, criticism, over-analysis, guilt and shame.

Mercury, ruler of Virgo and presiding deity of this Eclipse, is in Pisces, encouraging a more compassionate and loving perspective. Mercury is retrograde, February 25 to March 20, inviting you to review your life’s journey from your soul’s point of view.

Can you trust that everything in your past happened for a reason, exactly as it was meant to be? Can you trust the divine perfection of who you have been and who you are now becoming? Forgiveness, acceptance and allowing yourself to grieve help to dissolve the past and prepare for the next chapter.

While a Virgo Eclipse can stir up a lot of busyness – the endless to-do list – some spaciousness, downtime and dreamtime is recommended. Mercury retro in Pisces calls for slowing down, turning your attention inward, listening deeply to your intuition and reconnecting with Source. The power of your imagination is amplified - focus your attention on the new reality you’re dreaming up, your highest vision for the future.
