Feeling overwhelmed, overloaded, stressed-out, inundated with feelings? Me too!! The outer planets - Uranus, Neptune and Pluto - are all now at 4 degrees, coming into their exact alignment, which will peak over the next few weeks.

Jupiter in Leo is also getting in on the action, aspecting and amplifying the three outer planets and creating a cradle or basket formation. The energies are EXTREME! While the exact alignment occurs this month, the wave of change will continue through the next few years, ushering in a new era of civilization and new expression of humanity.

This once-in-a-lifetime harmonious configuration is carrying you into uncharted territory, beyond what the mind can fully comprehend. I'm noticing both profound (and painful) endings and powerful beginnings - letting go and grieving what’s dying while simultaneously feeling the excitement of new doors opening to future possibilities.

Can you trust where the Mysterious Multiverse is taking you, even when it disrupts your plans, confounds your mind and looks nothing like you thought it would?

The Cancer New Moon, occurring just before the alignment peaks, suggests that receptivity, vulnerability and compassion are key to navigating this transformational portal. While the outer planets activate the yang fire and air elements, Cancer is a yin water sign, inviting softness and surrender, and highlighting the inner realm of feelings and intuition.

As external changes accelerate in unexpected directions, it can be easy to feel spun-out, stressed-out, scattered and overwhelmed - nervous system overload. The challenge is to allow the intense energies to move through you, to stay open and feel the feelings that arise, to take time for rest and self-care to integrate these new frequencies.

The Cancer New Moon and Mercury in Cancer form a square - 90-degree angle of tension and friction - with Saturn in Aries. The Aries-Cancer square has been highlighted since last fall, when Jupiter in Cancer started squaring Chiron in Aries, and then by the current Mercury retrograde cycle in Cancer.

Fiery Aries, the Warrior and Pioneer, urges you to be brave and strong and take the risk of diving head-first into the new, while watery, sensitive Cancer seeks safety, security and comfort. How can you honor your sensitivity and keep your heart open while moving through this time of massive initiation?

Integrating the Aries-Cancer square calls for the courage to reveal your vulnerability, to show up in your authentic, messy humanness rather than overriding or masking sensitivity in order to appear tough.

Aries is also the sign of identity, and Saturn, Neptune and (until June 19) Chiron in Aries have instigated major shifts in how you define yourself. These slow-moving planets have inspired the healing and dissolution of old, limiting perceptions of self and expansion into your true, infinite, divinely sourced Self.

While the outer-planet alignment takes you WAY beyond your Cancerian comfort zone, this New Moon invites you to establish a new sense of home and find safety within a broader context - your bigger self, and your home in the Cosmos.

Chiron in Taurus: An Astrological & Shamanic Initiation

On June 19, Chiron - the Shaman, Mentor, Initiator and Wounded Healer - will enter Taurus for the first time in over 40 years. Join us to learn about and intimately experience Chiron in Taurus, and open to the healing potentials of this transit.

Taurus is the first of the Earth signs, reflecting your fundamental connection to the body, the natural world, and physical survival. Chiron in Taurus activates core wounds - and opportunities for healing - related to worthiness, self-love, security, receptivity and abundance. These patterns frequently emerge in our relationships with money, nourishment, possessions and intimacy.

Chiron was last in Taurus from 1976-1984. This year, we’ll get a preview of Chiron in Taurus from June 19 to September 17. Chiron will then reverse back into Aries until April 14, 2027, and then remain in Taurus until 2034.

In this three-part initiatory workshop, Emily will illuminate the astrological meaning and purpose of Chiron’s transit through Taurus, including the areas of life activated by Chiron in Taurus in your personal birth chart. Sarah will guide you through a series of shamanic journeys in which you’ll cultivate your own relationship with Chiron and receive direct guidance as to what Chiron in Taurus is asking of you. You’ll learn how to co-create with this astro-activation for growth and healing.

Those born with Chiron in Taurus (May 28 to October 13, 1976; March 28, 1977 to June 21, 1983, November 29, 1983 to April 11, 1984) will be especially sensitive to this transit, as they navigate their Chiron Return.

Chiron is an initiator of heroes, and therefore over our time together, participants will invite Chiron to ally with them in order to pass through a portal unique to each individual. Each of the three sessions will build upon the prior session.
